Goodwood Revival 2023

Castrol Classic Oils were lucky enough to spend an amazing 3 days at the Goodwood Revival 2023, meeting old and new customers and friends alike. Following on from the huge success of our exhibition stand in 2022, the team retuned with an even bigger and better display which included some of our bespoke Castrol Classic furniture and a life-size Stirling Moss and Castrol at Monaco backdrop – all of which drew many positive comments.

Huge crowds on all 3 days and some fantastic weather made it our most successful show yet. For an added bonus, the increase this year of teams in the paddock being sponsored by the Castrol Classic Motorsports Division made it a very busy few days indeed. Some highlights from the paddock were amazing Castrol Classic sponsored Jaguar Mk1’s and Alfa Romeos racing at the head of the field in main races.

We also took the opportunity to spend some time with The National Motor Museum and the legendary “Slug” - the 1000hp Sunbeam 1927 world record car, which was the first car to break the 200mph barrier with Sir Henry Segrave at the wheel and Castrol in the engine. We are delighted to be supporting the NMM and Slug for the next 3 years, on its restoration journey and return to Daytona Beach in 2027 to celebrate the centenary of the record.
