Silverstone Festival 2023
Castrol Classic Oils were delighted to be back at the home of British motorsport, as Silverstone celebrated its milestone 75th anniversary in style both on and off the famous Grand Prix track with a record-breaking attendance, for the 2023 Silverstone Festival.
The newly renamed Silverstone Festival (formerly The Classic) lived up to its Bank Holiday billing with an amazing line-up of memorable retro races, parades, displays and family entertainment. With everything from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS and Williams Racing F1, to Le Mans, NASCAR and dragsters, there was a feast of displays and racing to meet the appetite of even the most ardent of automotive enthusiast.
The Castrol Classic Oils stand was as popular as ever, and this year included the Bluebird Sapheria Team displaying their world record breaking Hybrid Jet / Electric Vehicle.
Despite some mixed weather (we did remember the Castrol Classic umbrellas though!) the event was a huge success again this year and will hopefully be a regular on our events calendar for many years to come.
